A RAILWAY TO KAWHIA.
(to the editor.) Sib, —l nmca that Mr Seddon in his speech at Auckland refereed to ths necessity of a railway line to connect the Main Trunk line with Kawhia. I think i- would be a pity (as the Pre. mier has given us the lead) to let the matter drop, so I would suggest that a Railway League be formed in Kawhia and surrounding district to (Ist) try and get a vote for a survey to be put through as soon as possible, and (2nd) to keop the necessity of the Kawhia railway before the Government.— Yours, etc., RAILWAY.
