THE WOOL SALES. Sydney, Wednesday. At the wool sales to-day there was the keenest competition and the best prices of the season were realised for all good classes of wool. Greasy oßossbred fetched 15$ d, the season's record. THE LONDON MARKET. London, Wednesday. Only the wool that arrived up to February 2nd has'been included in the wool sales catalogue. FAT STOCK MARKET. Messrs Alfred Buckland 'and Sons report:— - On Wednesday at our weekly WestGeld fat atock market, we Bold fat cattle to the number of 359 head, a big percentage being cows and heifers. There was keen demand throughout, with a further advance in values. Choice ox sold to 435, prime 40s to 42a, ordinary quality 37s to 395, cows and heifers 30s to 38s. Steers ranged in price at from £9 10s to £2l; cows and heifers £5 5s to £l4 10s. Fat and young calves came forward in large numbers, and sold without alteration from last report. Runners sold to £6 ss, heavy suckers £3 3s to £4 6s, medium suckers £2 to £3, lighter 28s to 38s, light 18s to 265; small and freshdropped, 3s to 15s. There was a full yarding o£ mutton, the major portion being prime sheep. There was a steady demand, but last week's high figures were not sustained. On the whole, values receded from Is 6d to 2s 6d per head. Extra heavy prime wethers 26s to 28s 9d, heavy prime wethers 24s to 25s 6d, medium to heavy 21s to 23a 6d, unfinished 18s to 20s. best heavy prima ewes 21b to 24s 6d, good ewes 18s to 20s 6d, others 14s to 17s 6d. A fair entry of lambs met with a ready sale at late rates. Extra heavy prime 20s to 225, heavy 18s to 19s 6d, good 153 6d to 17s 6d, lighter 13s 6d to 15s, stores 8s 6d to 12s Sd. Pigs came forward in average numbers, and met with a steady sale at late high values. Daconers sold at from £3 to £3 Bs, medium £2 14s to £2 19b. heavy porkers £2 9s to £2 13s, medium £2 to £2 7b, light 30s to 38s, weaners sold at advanced prices and realised from 8s to 14b 6d; stores 15s to 265.
