WEIGHT-GUESSING.

The weight-guessing competition at the A and P. Show gave rise to a great amount of interest, and the judging Of weights of the various exhibits was remarkably keen. The sheep and cattle results have already been published, and the guessing of weight for the pig resulted in no less than six tieing for the prize. The correct weight of the pig was and the following are the closest to the exact weight:—W. G. Park, H. Houghton, R. Fisher, and P. Cottter 451bs; J. F. Walsh and T. Carroll, 441bs.
