A COMPROMISE OFFERED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —P3SSSS' ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. Between 50 and 60 shopkeepers attended a meeting *to consider the possibility of having Wednesday halfhoilday restored. After discussion it was agreed tu offer employees a compromise by remaining closed the whole of Wednesday if they agree to re-opening on Saturday.
