Good progress is being made with ihe erection of the Marokopa wharf and shed, although a few delays have been occasioned by the contractors, Messrs Johnson and Dement, having to wait for material to come to hand. It is now understood that the ener* getic chairman of the trustees, Mr J. Wouldes, will bo making arrangements for the official opening. In this locality the weather has been somewhat broken, and we have really not had a continuous dry spell of weather this summer. Settlers, however, hope that a continuous spell of dry hot weather will soon bo expsrienced in order that bush and clearing fires will bo a success. Supplies to the Marokopa dairy factory are reported to be satisfactory, and although a few suppliers have dropped out this season, their places bavo been taken by new ones. At any rate, it is definitely hoped that those who are not milking this season as in the past, will bo in full swing again this year.
