M. Eibot, French Minister of Finance, speaking in thu Chamber of Deputies on the proposal to rai.se the limit of lh« Treasury bonds to 140 millions sterling, reviewed the financial situation. He said: "Our task ia a difficult, but not on impossible one. We are determined to go on to t!ie bitter end in matters financial, aB well aa in military matters. After six months of war we haven't asked the Ba-k of Franco for more than 156 millions sterling."
