APPALLING DESTITUTION. SHATTERED BY PRIVATIONS London, Monday. Harrowing stories are told of the appalling destitution in Servia, whete there are a million homeless and foodless people worsa oiT than the Belr gians, because thev have no neighbours to succour them. It j'b pitiable to see them grjuped in hundreds, hopeless and despairing, weak from want of food, and shattered bv their privation?. On ell Hides are heard the moans of thousands upon thousands of suffering children.
