Fighting has also occurred east of Eantnra, where the British casualties were five.

STORIES OF BRITISH REVERSES. Cairo, Wednesday. Fantastic stories about British reverses are officially circulated in Palestine. Among other absurdities, fireworks were let off at Jerusalem to celebrate the occupation of Suez. TURKISH LOSSES. Cairo, Wednesday. The Turks at Kantarß opened fire with mountain guns. A patrol replied with machine guns and rifles. The Turks showed no desire to come to close quarters.
