Received this day, 10.40 a.m. Melbourne, This Day.
Official information has been received from Admiral Patey, who states that on January 6th the Auetralia captured and sank a German liner acting as supply ship to German cruisers. The officers and crew were made prisoners. The Australia's crew are all well.
