REINFORCEMENTS IN CAUCASUS TURKISH REARGUAD CUT OFF. Received 1 a.m. Petrograd, Friday. The Germans have begun a bombardment of the whole Russian front with 11 in guns, besides other guns, Maxims, and rifles. Russian communiques imply that the Germans have been considerably reinforced northwards of the Vistula. The Russians are now carrying out a counter-move in East Prussia, and capturing a series of villages eastwards from Rosog. There are indications that the German fortress of Boyen, guarding the Mazurian Lakes, has been turned. The Russians in the Caucasus have been reinforced by Armenian volunteers and Siberian Cosßacks. The Turkish rearguards have been driven beyond Oltynov and cut off from the... nearest road back to
