TURKEY AND EGYPT.
MARCH NOT ABANDONED. London, Wednesday. Advices ficom Constantinople state that it is denied that the Egyptian expedition has been abandoned. Reuter's Cairo correspondent states that Turkish officers commanding Southern Syria do not show any desire to advance southward, demanding that Constantinople shall Bend more trained soldiers. News of the Turkish defeat in the Caucasus is disheartening the re.ruits mustering at Hebron. German officers are the chief impelling factor. Reuters Petrograd correspondent reports that the Turkish guard has occupied Tabirz, in North-western Persia, within Russia's sphere of influence.
Router's correspondent Biates that it is believed that the object of the Turks in invading neutral territory in Persia is to reach the vulnerable part of the Russian frontier, using Tabriz, as a base. The Persians are louking for Anglo-Rusßian aid.
