Official. -7- The enemy's a'tacks northward of Soissons checked and damaged a bridge, which compelled us to disable and abandon some guns. The Germans took some prisoners, notably wounded, whom in retreat were impossible to remove.]] We captured a number of unwounded members of seven different regiments.
The enemy scored a partial success, which does not affect the general operations.
