GERMAN DREADNOUGHT SUNK.
REPORT FROM ARGENTINA London, Monday.
An'independent cable service from Vancouver says that the Buenos Aires mwspaper La Frasna publishes a report that a British cruiser engaged and sank the German battle-cruiser Von der Tann, carrying a crew of 900.
Another report gives a widely-dis-tant location, and adds that the Government has received a wireless message that the British cruiser is afloat and believed to be undamaged. (A message from Buenos Aires a few days after the Falkland Islands battle stated that the German battlecruiser Von der Tann had reached the South Atlantic, accompanied by three merchantmen converted into armed cruisers. The Von der Tann ia a battle-cruiser of 19,400 tons displacement, completed in 1910. She carries eight llin guns, ten 6in guns, sixteen fli nnunders. and_iß_£ltfld-aiik_fflia
