TE KUITI RACING CLUB.
ANNUAL RACE MEETING
Tb.3 annual race meeting under the auspices of the Te Kuiti Racing Club has been fixed this year for Saturday, February 13th, and the programme provideß prize-money to thn extent of £650. The chief race, thß Te Kuiti Cup, has been endowed to the extent of £l5O, while the Stewards' Handicap, of six furlongs, and the Hurdle Handicap race, each carry prize money to the extent of £IOO. The' other races are also well endowed, and good entries should be received for the various events. A good deal of work has already been done on the course, and the final trimming up' should place it in first-class order. There are quite a number of loial horses in work preparing for the meeting, and outside entries this year should.be numerous. Nominations for the various events close on Friday, January 22nd, at 9 p.m., and weights will appear on Monday, February Ist. Acceptances for all events close on Saturday, February 6tb.
