A daring robbery waa perpetrated by a man at an early hour on Monday morning at the house of Mr and Mrs Price, at Whataupoko, near Gisborne. Mr Price was working away from home all night Betvfeen twelve and one o'clock Mrs Price heard a man moving about the house. She stated that he enttered her bedroom, and that she tackled him and tried to Briatch a handkerchief with which he had bis face cov«ruri. Thu man nearly strangled Mrs Price, who became unconscious.
