A GHURKHA CHARGE.
THE DEADLY KUKRI. TERROR-STRICKEN GERMANS. Received this day, 8.20 a.m. London, Tuesday. During a charge in Belgium the Highlanders encountered wire entanglements' under a heavy fire and the check was apparently fatal. The Gurkhas wriggled through the wire, kukri in hand, and disappeared in tha trenches, shouting battle cries. After a tumult and carnage the Germans fled into their own entanglements. Few prisoners were taken, all of who.n were paralysed with terror.
