GERMAN CRUISERS ACTIVE.
MINE-LAYING EXPEDITIONS,

The Daily Mail's correspondent at Copenhagen reports that the German cruiser Berlin, bound from Wilhelmshaven for Iceland, thrice sought to attack British trans-Atlantic liners. Another cruiser is reported to be going to Iceland with the s:.me object. It is understood that the Berlin is equipped for strewing the Atlantic routes with mines, and also for provisioning depits suitable for submarines on uninhabited Norwegian islands.
