HONOURING ROBERTS' MEMORY,
Received Tuesday, 7.15 p.m. London, Monday. The House of Commons argeed to ths £225,000,000 loan and votes also the extra million men. c Mr Asquith stated the actual mat of the war was between nine hundred thousand and a million daily. He also announced the Government would ask Parliament to erect a national monument to Earl Roberts with an inscription expressing the admiration of the House to his illustrious military career, and gratitude for his devoted serviceß to the State.
