A SHOCKING TRAGEDY.
MAN AND WOMAN FOUND DEAD.
Napier, This Day. A shucking trsgedy occurred at Clive, the bodies of u married woman named Georgina Anthony, wife of Alfred Anthony, vvool-claaarr, and a man named Nurinan Richard, employed at Pokipaki freezing works, being found lying on a bed in Anthony's bouse, each with the arteries of an arm severed at the elbow. Mrs Anthony was to have left by the mailtrain on a visit to her mother, who lives at Castlecliff, Wanganui, and her husband bade her an affectionate gpod-byc at 7 am., before going to work. Returning at 6 o'clock in the evening he saw fur hat on the table and looked in (he rooms for her, finding her and Richards as stated. Eoth bodies were still warm. A razor was lying on the tablo by tho bedside. Thero wcro no signs of a struggle. The woman left u note, but the contents will not be disclosed until the inquest this morning.
