PRUSSIAN REGIMENT TRAPPED.

RUSE AT DIXMUNDE. Received Tuesday, 9.40 p.m. Paris, Monday. The Petit Journal reports, with the object of drawing the Germans' towards Dixmunde, the Allies feinted the abandonment of the town. A Prussian regiment fell into the trap, and entered with the parade step, and bands playing. Immediately they entered the principle street a terrific volley drowned the music. Machine guns concealed in the huuses fired. The Germans, panic-stricken, turned and fled, and were met with bullets from all sides. The French marines sprang from concealment and hurled themselves on the survivors, who threw »lown their arms and surrendered at the sight of the baynoets.
