WAIKAKA.
Own Correspondent. It has been decided after a good deal of controversy to hold the annual show at Nibo Niho as ÜBual this spaßon. It is very gratifying to see that the plough has been at work on eo mnay sections in the district. There has been quite a large urea broken up thia year now lying for summer to fallow. When thia is put in crop it will make a wonderful improvement to the look of the district. The dairy farmers are becoming anxious owing to the continued dry weather, and lack of feed. The roads are becoming quite dry, only they are very lumpy in places; the fruit treea are a picture with blossom. It is rumoured that a brand new batch of councillors are to bo installed when the Ohura County Council election takes place in Novomber There is every prospect of record lambing percentages in this district this season as we have htul ideal lambing weather from Btart to finish.
