RETREAT FROM ANTWERP.
NAVAL BRIGADE'S ACTION. SURRENDER TO DUTCH. Amßterlam, Friday. When the retreat from Antwerp was ordered the First Naval Brigade was thß rearguard. The Germans hotly pursued them, but the brigade held them back. It was found after a twenty hours' march the retreat was nut off at the railway front, which was then blown up. Though staggering with exhaustion the men declared they would cut their way toGfent. It meant annihilation, and they obeyed orders and crossed the border.
