At Waihou, on September 25tb, we had a ynruine of 150 pigs, 147 fat Bheep, 1091 fat and store cattle, and 136 dairy cows and heifer a. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report: — OHAUPO SALE. We held our annual hogget fair and cattle sale at Ohaupj on .September 22nd, when wo penned 1570 hoggets. The demand was not as keen as at the previous sale and several lines wern passed in. Best hoggets made 17fl 3d, medium 16s 3d, fat hogget* 21b, fat ewes 19s'6d, 200 forward wethers ♦22s Gd. Cattle: A full yarding, which nearly all changed hands at auction or afterwards. Fat cows £6 ,15s to £B, cows in fresh condition £4 15a to £5 7s, store cows £3 10s to £4 Bs, two year; empty heifers £4 to £4 ss, yearling and fifteen months heiferß £2 12s 6d to £3 10b for choice quality, two year steers £5, eighteen month Bteers twelve to fifteen months steers £3 19 to £3 17s for choice quality, grown bulls £6 2s to £7 sa, dairy oows £G 10s to £7 15b, three year heifers nt profit £7 to £8 2s 6d, others £5 15s to £t3 12s 6d.
