DEPARTURE POSTPONED. RETURN TO CAMP. Wellington, Friday. Thß Governor received advice from the Imperial Government early this morning that the New Zealand Expeditionary Force will not sail from the Dominion for eome little time. The Governor iB anxious, for obvious reasons, to take the people into his confidence on this matter at the earliest possible moment, but would earnestly request them not to make thia a subject of comment, as the delay is solely caußed by the exigencies of the service, when such extensive operations are everywhere in progress. This applies aB well to other expeditionary forces of the overseas Dominions.
