PECIALi ORDER authorising the - raising of a>an of £SOOO over the Kio Kio Specinl Rating District of the Waitomo County for the purpose of Forming, Culverting, and Metalling the Otorohanga-Kihikihi road, the Kio Kio road, and portion of the Mangaorongo and Puketarata roadß within the Waitomo County. A Special Meeting to confirm the following Special Order (paesed .by the Waitomo Couity Council at ita meeting held in Te Kuiti on the ?.lßt September, 1914), will be held at the County Office, Te Kuiti, on the 19th day of October, 1914. Moved by Cr Potts and seconded by Cr Gregg—"That inpureuancc and exercisß of the powers vested in it in that behalf enabling by the Counties Act 1908 and amenments thereto the Local Bodies Loans Act 1913 and in particular by section 16 of the Local Hodies Loans Act 1913 and all other Acts if any it enabling and with the consent of the ratepayers of th« Kio Kio Special Rating District testified by a petition signed by not lesß than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating District the Capital value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said district is collectively greater than the Capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves by way of a Special Order that the Waitomo County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £SOOO for the purpose of Forming Culverting and Metalling the Otorohanga-Kihikihi mad the Kio Kio road and portions of tho Mangaorongo and Puketarata roads within the Kio Kio Special Rating District in the Waitomo County and hereby declares that tho first year's interest on the said loan shall bi payable out of the moneys so raised."
