AUSTRIA'S COLOSSAL LOSSES.
ESTIMATED AT A QUARTER OF A MILLION. A HUNDRED THOUSAND PRISONERS. Petrograd, Wednesday. A semi-official statement saya that it is difficult to estimate correctly the Austrian losses, which are assuming colossal proportions. It is believed that 250,000 have been killed and wounded, and 100,000 taken prisoners, Everywhere roads are blocked with artillery and parts cf transport columns that have been abandoned in the Austrians' hurried flight. Several steamers and a gunboat on the Vistula have been destroyed. Advices from Rome state that 60,000 wounded have reached Vienna, where there is an inefficiency of doctors and ( medical appliances.
