— The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— OHAUPO SALE At Ohaupo on Tuesday, 11th inst., we had a medium yarding of cattle! Forward ateers and cows were required, and dairy cowb and heifers at profit sold at lato rates, but young cattle were dull of sale. Prices: Three ytar old steers £7, two and a half year old steers £5 14s, atore cowb £3 to £3 9s. yearling heifers £2 2s to £2 10s, bulls £5 15s to £6, three year old springing heifers £6 10b to £B, dairy cows £6 to £7 10s, cull cows £4 5s to £5 2a 6d. MATAMATA SALE At MatamaU on Wednesday wo yarded 63 fat steers and cows and 177 stores and yearlings, 240 dairy cows Bnd heifers, also sheep and pigs. Nearly all grown cattle were disposed of, but yearlings were not wanted.and a good number of Bpringers were passed in.
