MONEY IN GARDENING
One of the chief features of "Everyladj'a Journal" for August, jußt to hand, is a very beautifully illustrated article on -Gardening for Women, in which the writer] shows how gardening may be made, not only a delightful hobby, but a paying matter! for any woman with energy and brains. The horticultural knowledge is not difficult to obtain, but a great deal of perseverance, and some hard work are necessary. However, as the writer points out, it is useless to grow flowers unless the gardener has a great deal of common sense in disposing of the good?. That there is an excellent market to bo obtained in almost any part of Australia is certain, and that the demand for women gardeners only needs encouraging is also evident. There are also many other articles of absorbing interest to readers, and tverylady's Journal is certainly entitled to the support of all our women readres, for it is Gne value for sixpence.
