The resolutions carried at the recent conference of the Backblocbs Local Bodies' Association were forwarded to the various members of the Cabinet and to the members representing the various Counties affiliated with the Association. Replies have been received from the Prime Minister. Minister for Public Works, and the Minister of Justice, us w«ll as from Mr J. A. Young, member for Waikato.
