Tbn Ediotr. Sir, Briefly, a suggestion. I have noticed with pleasure that a number of cnthuyiaflta—Messrs Lover, Langstone, Duncanson, Robinson, and Giesen —have formed themselves into a "Town Beautifying Committee." By way of (supporting tlieao (gentlemen in their laudable scheme, might I suggent that his Worship ttio Mayor convene a meeting of ladies to form a strong committee ana set apart a day when the various members would, with collection boxen, take Btanda in the leading thoroughfares of the town. Knowing your cuntempt for the person who "apeo that r»n abler man, etc.," I feel convince that the idea is a great one, and that a substantial sum could bo raised and wisely expended in assisting to make To Kuiti the attractive looking town that every truehearted citizen desires it should be. Either Saturday or a sale day would sui\— I am, etc., J. B. YOUNG.
