In the House of Commons yesterday Mr A?quith annnunced that he proposed to put down the consideration of the Home Rule Amendina Bill provisionally for Monday next. The Pall Mall Gazette is responsible for the amazing Btutement thßt the Government intends to abandon the Home Rule Amending Bill, withdraw the troops from Ulster and allow the provisional Government to keep order, collect the taxes, and remit them to Whitehall, whence they will be disbursed proportionately between Ulster and Dublin.
One hundred arid fifty thousand rounds of ammunition consigned to Belfast were seized at Stockton-on-Teea yesterday.
