AMUSEMENTS.
BOWLING <JLUB BALL The date of the annual ball under the auspices of tha Te Kuiti Bowling Club has been fixed for August 6th, and a strong ccmmittse has been appointed to arrange details in connection with the function. Ihe ball is to take place in the Alexandra Rink, which will be suitably decorated for the occasion. The committee has de cided to engage the services of the Dresden Orchestra, from Hamilton, so that the music supplied will be everything that can be desured. The arrangement* for supper are in the hands of the ladies' committee. Mr A. Julian, who ha 3 been undertaken the secretarial work in connection with the ball committee is leaving nothing undone to ensure, the success of the function.
