TE KUITI PUBLIC LIBRARY.

ANNUAL REPORT. The annual npeeting of the Te Kuiti Library was held on Monday evening, a full Httendance being recorded. The annual report and balance-sheet submitted bv the Librarian, showed that a credit balance of £lO 3a 8d waß in hand. The sum of £2l 15a lOd had last year been spent on books and periodicals, and in order fo keep a proper supply going a further subsidy from the Borough Council would be necessary. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Mr W. H. Mabbett was elected chairman for the ensuing yeßr, and Messrs A. S. Gresham, J. F. Walsh, and N. C. Matthew were appointed a citizens' committee. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr Walsh, the retiring chairman, and also to Mis? Downes for her services as librarian.
