PIO PIO.
Own Correspondent. The Bachelors' Ball held here recently went far to prove it to be the mo'it-looked-forw'ard-to function of the season. In spite of bad roads people came long distaces to partake of the hospitality of the bachelors, who went to great expense and trouble to make the ball a success. Music was provided by Mr A. Asplin, who was kept playing till the early hours of the morning, psople making the most of what <vas one of the best ball's yut held in the district. I am sure the district will not hesitate in congratulating Mr Tunniclifie on his success at the Waikato Show. Mr Tunnicliffe secured two first prizes for buttsr, which for a new district, speaks volumes for the ability and perseverance of the maker.
