TE KUITI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
A meeting of the Te Kuiti Chamber of Commerce was held in the President's office on Monday evening. There whs a good attendance and the president, Mr Mostyn Jones, occupied the chair. Rangitoto roads: A letter was received from Mr Finniß pointing out that the roads connecting the district with Otorohanga were almost completed while the connection with Te Kuiti was unformed and close to the town there were some very b>»d places.—lt was resolved to support any movement towards betterment. Te Kuiti to Marokopa: Mr E. P. Hall wrote forwarding a resolution of the settlers concerning a metalling scheme with the object of linking up Marokopa with Te Kuiti.—lt was decided to make representations on the matter to the authurities. Native Land Court.—Matters in connection with the court were discussed, and it was decided that a letter be written to the Institute of Surveyors with respect to more satisfactory arrangements in the Native Land Court.
