An enthusiastic meeting of Liberal supporters decided to form a branch of the New Zealand Liberal League with subsidiary branches throughout Waipawa electorate. When the crystallised opinion of the party is obtained, a candidate to contest thß seat against Mr G. Hunter, the sittirg member, will definitely be selected. Oamaru, Tuesday. A meeting ot the Oamaru Liberal Association unanimously decided to ssk Mr J. A. MacPherson, formerly member for Mt. Ida, to contest the Oamaru seat in the interests of the Liberal, party. It is understood Mt MacPherson will accept.
