TE KUITI DEBATING SOCIETY.
The opening meeting of the Te Kuiti Debating Society, which is to be held on Monday evening next, promises to be a very interesting function. Humorous authors are to be dealt with and a wide range of subjects is sure to be presented Among those taking part are Messrs Howarth, Snadden,Martin, Robinson, Inder and Steel,while others are being invited to portray the humours of their favourite authors. At Monday evening's meeting the proposed syllabus for the season will be submitted for final approval. Tne subjects have been carefully chosen by the committee, and any suggestions with the object of improvement will be welcomed. Mr C. <F Turner has accepted the position of secretary to the society, which i 3 sufficient guarantee of the fact that interest in th« society's doings will not be allowed to flag.
