The following letter hag been received from the Public Works Department, by Mr J. Wouldes, Kinofaaku Junction : "Referring to your interview with the Hon. Minister for Fublic Works with reference to the formation of the roads in the Whareorino block, Awakino County, I have to inform you that £1620 has been authorised to the Public Works Department for the formation and construction of roads in the above blocks, and no doubt the completion of this work will materially improve the means of access.— F. T. O'NEILL, Assistant Under-Secretary
