BOWLING.

When the Te Awamutu bowlers visited Te Kuiti recently a return visit was promised by the local players before the season closed. Accordingly, on Thursday last ten players from the Te Kuiti club made the journey to Te Awamutu and met three rinks of local players, two of the Te Kuiti teams plaving a Te Awamutu man as substitute. Practice games were played in the morning, and in the afternoon three rink gam°s were played, Te Kuiti scoring a win in each case, the aggregate points at the conclusion being Te Kuiti 68, Te Awamutu 48. Following are the scores, the Te Kuiti players being mentioned first in each inatance:—Williams 20 v. Clements 18 Julian 19 v. Lawrie 16, Boles 29 v. Wallace 14.
