FREEZING WORKS FOR WAIKATO.
AGREEMENT SIGNED. A meeting was held in Auckland on Tuesday hetween the directors of the Auckland Freezing Company and the provisional directors of the proposed Waikato Company, when everything was amicably arranged and the j agreement signed. By the agreement the p oviaional directors o? the proposed Waikato Company undertake to place shares in the Auckland Freezing Company to the value of £3o,ooo,and on this being done the Auckland Freezing Company contract to establish works capable of treating 2000 sheep a day between Frankton and Taupiri. No difficulty is anticipated in placing the shares within the next few days, and the works should, therefore, be running in about eighteen months from now.
