AMUSEMENTS.
EMPRESS THEATRE. The great picture drama, "A Midnight Message," will be screened this evening and Monday evening, and should attract large audiences. The drama is one of intense interest and is recognised as a picture of great human power and passion. The star film is supported by a first-class programme of scenic, topical, educational, and dramatic subjects. TE KUITI SOCIAL CLUB. A dance under the auspices of the Te Kuiti Social Club was held in the Town Hall on Thursday evening. There were about sixty couples on the floor, and a most enjoyable time was spent. During the evening musical items were rendered by Messrs Conway, Phillips, Adams, and Mitchell, and were well received. Dancing was indulged in till a?ter midnight.
