MANIAPOTO RUGBY UNION.
FIRST ROUND DRAW.
A meeting of the management committee of the Maniapoto Rugby Union was held in the Chronicle office last night. Mr Worthingtop intimated hi* acceptance of the position of delegate to the South Auckland Union, providing the meetings were held not further away than Hamilton. In view of there being only four teams competing in the Union it was decided that three rounds of fixtures be played. The third round to he drawn after the completion of the second rour.d. It was decided that the conditions governing the status of players be the same as last season, and that a meeting to discuss the question of reinstatemsnt of players be held on Tuesday evening next. The following ia the draw for the first two round?, the games to be played on the ground of tha teams mentioned first: — May 16th.—Nehenehe v. Ongarue, Otorohanga v. Te Kuiti. May 23rd.—Te Kuiti v. Nehenehe; Ongarue v. Otorohanga. May 30th—Te Kuiti v. Ongarue: Ongaruhe v. Nehenehe. June 6th.—Ongarue v. Nehenehe; Te Kuiti v. Otorohanga. June 13th.—Otorohanga v. Ongarue; Te Kuiti v. Nehenehe. June 20th.—Ongarue v. Te Kuiti; Nehenene v. Otorohanga.
