BOWLING.
A committee meeting of the Te Kuiti Bowli-g and.Croquet Club was held in the Chronicle offica last evening.
After discussion it was decided that Saturday next, May 2nd, bs the closing day for the bowling green. It was resolved that the matter of closing the croquet ground be left in Mr Power's hands to deal with.
The follownig teams were chosen to play against Te Awamutu at Te Kuiti to-morrow :—Power, Cochrane, Walsh, Steel; Williams, Julian, Taylor. Rowell; Matthew, Boles, Albrechtsen, Stevens.
The ladies' committee of the Te Kuiti Croquet Club have been advised that four ladie3 from the Te Awamutu Club will journey to Te Kuiti to-mor-row to try conclusions with the local players. The croquet lawn ia in very gnod order, and some good games should result.
