BENTON'S MURDERER.
EXECUTION ORDERED. WAYLAID AND SHOT HIM. Mexico City, Monday. As an outcome of the commission set up by General Carranza, leader of the Constitutionalists, Major Ferrero has been ordered to be executed for murdering John Benton, the English rancher, who was shot in February. Ferrero has been degraded from the army, and is now in prison.
It appears that General Villa merely imprisoned Benton, but Ferrero waylaid him en route to prison and shot him aboard the train,.
