Mr Lloyd-George, in speaking on the motion by Sir J. S. Randies, Unionist M.P., censuring him for his unfounded attacks udoh individuals, particularly in his recent speech at Glasgow, justified his attacks on landowners. They had illustrations, he said, of landowners receiving great values created by local enterprise without contributing anything. He also quoted several of Mr Jospeh Chamberlain's speeches and shower! that the Ponservative papers had once attacked Mr Chamberlain in similar fashion. He congratulated himself that the land campaign had roused the public conscier cp.
