A DISORDERLY MEETING.
MINISTER HOWLED DOWN. MR FISHER AND RED-FEDS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, This Day. The Hon. Mr Fisher was announced to address his constituents last night, but could not get a hearing. Red.-Fedß. were present in force, and howled him down. It was then arranged he should speak for an hour and Mr Holland, as representing his opponents, for an hour, but the compact was not carried out. Immediately the Minister started to speak again the disorder was renewed and he finally gave up the attempt. Mr Holland then tried to speak, but Mr Fisher's friends took their revenge, and prevented his getting a hearing. Eventually the meeting dipersed neither the Minister nor the other side being able tu overcome the op position.
