WELLINGTON WOOL SALE. A KEEN DEMAND. The final woo] sale o ? the season held at Wellington on Tuesday at traded a large attendance of buyers. Tthe demnd was keen from Bradford. Continental. and local ODeralor?. The condition of the wool generally was heavy, consisting largely of back country lots. Prices were from par to Jd up on halfbred and fine crossbredd, Jd tu £d up on medium and coarse crossbreds, and Jd to £d up on pieces, as compared with the prices at the February sale. The prices were as folluws—Merino 9d to 10£ d, halfbred medium 9Jd to lid, crossbred super. lOfd to 1 ljd s crossbred medium 9|d to lOfd, crossbred coarse 9d to 10£ d, crossbred inferior BJd to 9£d, lambs, best 11 Jd to 13d, lambs, medium to 1 lid, lambs, inferior 5J to 9d, crossbred pieces and bellies 6d to B|d, locks 4Jd to s£d. STOCK SALES. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— OHAUPO RAM PAIR. We held the above Fair on February 26th, when we had a yarding of 260 rams of all classes. There was a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district and bidding was brisk throughout. The top price of the sale was secured by Mr S. don, of Ngaroto, for a one-shear Romney ram which made Bjgns. his line of 12 rams entered with us, averaging £6 lis..' Lineolns made from 2J to 3|gns, Romneys 2J to B|gns, English Leicesters 2 to 3Jgng, cull and old rams 5s to 21s. HAMILTON HORSE FAIR. We held the above Fair in the Hamilton Horse Bazaar on February 27tn, when we had an entry of 120 horses. Bidding was not brisk, and consequently a large number of horses were passed in, although any good sorts offering made good prices.
