BRITAIN AND MEXICO.
THE FATE OF BENTON. "WILL NOT LET MATTER REST." Received this day, 11.5 a.m. Br Telegraph-—Press Association.—Copyright London, Tuesday. Replying to Mr Bonar Law, Sir E. Grey said several Americans had been killed in Mexico. If the United States did think proper to take steps on behalf of their own subjects or British, we will gladly await the result; otherwise we reserve the right to secure reparation but there was no intention to send a force or blockade a port.
