A good example of the value of Boy Scout training is told by King's Scoutmaster Benjamin. It was at a military camp in Australia, and there had been almost a strike with regard to the cooking. The O.C- paraded the men and asked all ex-Boy Scouts to stand forward; he then inquired which of them had won their cookery badges, and the lads who responded were told off tu take charge of the culinary arrangements. There was no more trouble, and discontent turned to satisfaction.
