KING EDWARD HOSPITAL FUND.
The trusteew Messrs Trinnoar, Boddie, and Mabbett—at a meeting held in November last, received from Mr Lamb, town dark, funds as follow: —From Mr J. H. Trinnoar, cheque dated Augutst 11th, 1913, for £6B 3b lOd, being proceeds from hospital ball held in the Town Hall, a custume football match in the Domain, and a masquerade ball in the rink;, Mr J. B. Young, a cheque dated November Ist, 1913, for £ls 5s 2d, proceeds also from the sources mentioned above; Mr E. H. Hardy, on September, 16th, 1918, £G 13s lid, money collected by Mr Atkinson on behalf of the hospital fund, and withdrawn from the P.O.S. Bank with intoivat; Mr F. E. Lamb, town clerk, £5, fl'-'t aiade for the fund by the Borough Council in 1910-
It was decided to lodg* tho money, totalling £95 2y lid, its the Bunk of New Zealand, on fixed deposit for six months.
On January 30th latit, a cheque for £3 4a (id, which had been forwarded by Mr Howanh, solicitor, on behalf of Mr J. B- Young, to tho town clerk, was received by the Contributions will bo gladly received and acknowledged by tho trustees through the medium of tho press. .
